Cleaning and changing artifact IDs

The changes in this branch involve the following:

  • Various fixes to CI
  • Removing unused dependencies
  • Removing the benchmark module because of license incompatibility
  • Changing the artifact IDs of all maven modules and projects in this repository to conform with the common convention.
